Search Engines - The search engines listed here all allow free submission of your pages. Wherever possible, the links are direct to the search engine submission page.
- Google Submit the top level page of your site here. The Googlebot crawler will then index your whole site.
- AltaVista AltaVista will present you with a unique code that you will have to enter at the time of submission. This will allow you to enter up to five unique URLs for Alta Vista to index.

- HotBot Requires you to sign up to allow free submissions.
- Lycos Same page as HotBot.
- Wisenut Range of paid submission services and a FREE site submission option for non-commercial sites.
- AOL Search - Find an appropriate catregory for your submission.
- AllTheWeb Uses Fast Search and is part of the Lycos network. Allows FREE submission so may be a route to getting listed on Hotbot and Lycos.
- ExactSeek ExactSeek is a Meta-tag search engine. Your site must have Title and Meta Description tags or it will not be listed. Add your top level page only.
- Whatuseek Add your URL to whatUseek here.
