  • Swap links with other web-sites. Contact other sites and ask to be added to their own links page. A good strategy I have found to work is to add them to my own links page first and email them the URL of my links page politely asking for a reciprocol link. Nine times out of ten this will work.
  • Check your own links. Go through your own pages and contact any of the other web-sites that you link to. Same basis as above - you already link to these other sites as part of your own copy, ask for a link back.
  • Link to high ranking pages. This can help as Search Engines are more likely to place your page higher in their search results if many other popular pages link to it. A strategy to achieve this is to do a search for one of your sites keywords then contact the webmasters of the top ten search results returned. Ask them for a reciprocol link using strategies outlined above.
